Full Directions: How to Use Vaginal Dilators

Instructions included recommend you use vaginal trainers or dilators 5-20 minutes twice/per day while laying down in a comfortable place. If you cannot use your dilators that long, it is okay. Use your dilators as long as you can and work up to that time table. You should never go over a 3-4 pain level when dilating out of pain score of 10. How long it takes a patient to move up in size depends on the severity of their condition. Vaginal Dilators are a relatively safe treatment as long as you follow the instructions included or given to you by your healthcare provider.

Intimacy at it's Best

The product is amazing and every woman that has discomfort must try the new technology of giving back the wonderful feeling of intimacy without pain. It has been 12 years and my OBgyn female Dr. Stated that I was Courageous enough to explore my body with VuVa Dilators and good results that made me feel normal, and pain free.

These actually do work and I couldn’t be more grateful

I found these while googling something like “how to make penetration less painful.” I’m 27 and was still a virgin - endo, CSA trauma, low libido. Couple that with penetration being *extremely* painful (even tampons) and I’d accepted that it may never be possible and was fine with it, until I met my partner and wanted to be with him in this way. I knew I wanted to at least try when we went on our anniversary trip.

That led me here. I was only able to get to size 3 by our trip, but even that helped SO much and gave me the confidence to try. While it took time and there was still discomfort/pain at first, we were successful. Had it not been for these, there’s no chance it would have been possible. These gave me the ability to fully be with the person I love, something I feared I’d never be capable of. I feel hopeful. I feel excited to continue using these and working my way up to size 5 to make it even better and easier.

I wish *all* women knew that these existed, I can only imagine all the discomfort and pain that could be avoided. Which brings me to my main motivation for writing this review - after the success I’ve had with these I knew I needed to reassure anyone who may be where I was - looking at this product, questioning if it’s worth it, if it actually works - IT DOES. Give yourself time, give yourself grace, continue to work at it even if you can only handle the smallest dilator at first. I know it’s scary and it feels hopeless, but I promise it gets better.

Great tools for pelvic floor physiotherapy

I had a set of silicone dilators and I have stopped using them entirely because I like the Vuvatech set much better. I have some degree of atrophy, and the slick surface of the Vuvatech is much easier to use and significantly less irritating than the silicone texture of the other brand I used previously. I really like how lightweight this set is, and I only use the Vuvatech set now. I do think that the magnets have made a difference in blood flow and I have had much better results with the Vuvatech set. I use a water-based lubricant with Hyaluran/hyaluronic acid when I dilate. At night, before bed, I apply a small amount of Rx (prescription-only) estradiol cream. There is a urologist on Twitter, Dr. Ashley Winter MD, who explains why Rx estradiol cream applied topically is so helpful for perimenopause and post-menopausal atrophy. Using this new dilation regimen has been a godsend for my hypertonic pelvic floor and atrophy. Urinary urgency, UTIs, and burning sensations are now a thing of the past. It has made an enormous difference in my quality of life. Thank you!

Make dreams come true

I know that sounds lame but for the most part of my life i thought i would never be able to have sex. For everybody who is going through this you know how difficult it is to talk about it and mentally suffer.Even after going through physio appointments we were not seeing progress until i started using these dilators - i am now in the second largest dilator and using these helped me reconnect with my body, give me confidence that i can proceed to next stage, helpful in penetration sex. I dont know if the magnetic vs non magnetic have a difference but mentally it helped me to go with magnetic. I do feel extreme warmth and heat inside when i use them but its not uncomfortable. Consistence is key and am still trying my best. I am hoping i finally have the courage to do physical examinations.
