I've struggled with intense dyspareunia for probably 20 years. After just 1 week of use, the sensation of tearing disappeared. The set I ordered came with exercises to do. Those in conjunction with the treatment worked immediately. I have no issues with tampons of all sizes. The only advice I would give for purchasing is I did not need sizes 2 to 4. I did need sizes 5 and 6. That may just be my body. But the smaller sizes were no pain at all; similar to a tampon in size and sensation. So when trying to decide which sets to purchase, that might help someone. I really struggled deciding if I should get these thinking it wouldn't work for me. I wish I had purchased these years ago.

This set allows me to slowly stretch and work on my pain. I do it while in the shower (using that time as my stretching time). I recommend!!

I was so happy these dilators were suggested. They worked very well for me. I started with #3 and used it every day for 1 week and then moved to #4. I stayed with #4 for about 2 weeks and then I attempted #5. At first, I had to start very slowly, and actually to this day, I still have to start slowly and adapt to the larger size. The suggestion to use the dilator about 20 minutes before intercourse is much easier than just trying to jump directly in with your partner. You basically set your body up to accept your partner naturally without fear of pain.

The dilators are comfortable and it's nice that they come with lubricant

Recommended to me by my pelvic floor physical therapist. Best price and value you will find online. Helping me to work on relaxing and stretching my pelvic floor to decrease neck/back/period pain. Pouch is cute and holds all 5 plus small lube.

material was smooth and easier to insert than other dilators. I only needed the 3 biggest sizes but it was nice to have the option of small sizes too. I ordered non magnetic. I was happy with product price point. Would definitely recommend

The product is amazing and every woman that has discomfort must try the new technology of giving back the wonderful feeling of intimacy without pain. It has been 12 years and my OBgyn female Dr. Stated that I was Courageous enough to explore my body with VuVa Dilators and good results that made me feel normal, and pain free.

I found these while googling something like “how to make penetration less painful.” I’m 27 and was still a virgin - endo, CSA trauma, low libido. Couple that with penetration being *extremely* painful (even tampons) and I’d accepted that it may never be possible and was fine with it, until I met my partner and wanted to be with him in this way. I knew I wanted to at least try when we went on our anniversary trip.

That led me here. I was only able to get to size 3 by our trip, but even that helped SO much and gave me the confidence to try. While it took time and there was still discomfort/pain at first, we were successful. Had it not been for these, there’s no chance it would have been possible. These gave me the ability to fully be with the person I love, something I feared I’d never be capable of. I feel hopeful. I feel excited to continue using these and working my way up to size 5 to make it even better and easier.

I wish *all* women knew that these existed, I can only imagine all the discomfort and pain that could be avoided. Which brings me to my main motivation for writing this review - after the success I’ve had with these I knew I needed to reassure anyone who may be where I was - looking at this product, questioning if it’s worth it, if it actually works - IT DOES. Give yourself time, give yourself grace, continue to work at it even if you can only handle the smallest dilator at first. I know it’s scary and it feels hopeless, but I promise it gets better.

I found this product after doing a little research. Honestly, reading the reviews made me tear up. I have never known anyone else that has struggled with pain and tensing up even when inserting a tampon. Going to the gynecologist was a terrible experience, to the point that I stopped going. Once I received the dilators, I started with size 3 and was able to insert it with very little discomfort. After a couple of days, I moved up to size 4. It took me a couple times before I was able to insert it all the way. Size 5 took me at least a week, I was starting to get discouraged. But, stayed consistent and was able to eventually insert it all the way and keep it in for 30 minutes. At some point between size 4 and 5, my partner and I tried to have intercourse. However, it was still painful and we were not successful. After using size 5 for about two weeks, I started to feel more confident. We tried again and were successful! No pain what so ever. I’ve even gone to the gynecologist since then. I was still a little jumpy, but it wasn’t terrible and it was a successful visit. I had given up OB my body and tried this as a last ditch effort. I am so appreciative.

I honestly did not think these would work as well as they did, but after only a week or two of dedicating time everyday, I was able to use up to the fourth dilator. Even after months of lacking on dilating, I can still use the fourth with little to no pain at all. I'm 28 years old and I first realized I had vaginismus only about a year ago. I've been to a few gynaecologists and no one ever seemed to help me because they truly didn't know how. My partner and I had been unable to be intimate with each other and we had been trying for 4 (FOUR!!) years.
